The cover glistens and shines in the sunlight around me.
The title big and bold, with the author’s name beneath.
All I hear is the small puff of my breathing
as I open the book.
A wave of words washes over me as I prepare for endless satisfaction.
The scent of my new book swallows me.
The book begins to whisper to me a story.
The pages are as rough as sandpaper as I turn the page.
I have now lost myself in a world of words.
This is where I find adventure and stone-hard characters.
I have found a series that I will enjoy.
I may have read the last page of this book,
but, this is not the end, and is merely the beginning.
What will I read next?
