The river was going past in a silent flow
Sparkling brilliantly from the moon glow
This stream, it was a giraffe sleeping
It's long neck stretching out, creeping
The moon seemed to smile down on me
As I sat quietly against a tree
I could smell the early morning air
And see the sunlight flowing through my hair
The sun is coming, I thought
The moon was leaving us, for another night
And the sun was coming up to make it bright
A deer jumped by like a majestic frog
Gracefully leaping over a fallen log
The sun, was now shining at full extent
