I'm sitting with nothing but a blank,
Desperate, there's nothing in the think tank,
And as that emotionless deadline nears,
I'm slowly consumed by all of my fears,
It's like standing up with nothing to say,
It's like leading without knowing the way,
It's like forgetting that great idea you had,
It's like everything that has ever been bad,
But resilience reminds me never to quit,
Persistence says keep going until you do it,
Confidence sees light at the end of the tunnel,
Meanwhile my imagination acts like a funnel,
An idea has vaguely formed inside my head,
If I work at it it can soon be read,
And this is the greatest feeling I can feel,
When I've made something out of nothing into something unreal.
