The water calmly laps the shores,
It intrigues me and wants me to jump in
I am slowly drawn into the ocean
it envelopes me in a blanket of ice.
The cold pierces through my warm body
I finally adapt to the frigid conditions.
My scaled friends dash between my toes.
A sudden splash awakens my soul
I glance at the finned monster I have come across
It gives me a hug and giggles.
What an adorable predator!
