Non-fiction or fantasy, you'll always see pictures
The more you read, the further you'll go
You'll write great stories that'll put on a show
Reading is good; but don't do it too much
Next school assessment, you'll end up in a slush!
Always remember to finish your book
Never give up, no matter how bored you look
Enjoy your book as much as you can
Even though it might be on pots and pans
If you ever come across a book in the library
Be sure to be cautious and a little bit wary
For this book can contain information that you may not know
But it really depends on how the book flows
Your favourite chapter can make you tinkle
You never know what's coming next
