The long, loved summer is lost in a sea of everlasting amber
Mountains of splendid-coloured leaves that nothing dares outnumber
They gleam with all different shades and hue
Beautiful colours that nobody would say were few
We find this astounding season rather charming
But nature has been having a hard time, which is alarming. While we all bundle up safely in our homes, Slower and sleepier the great, big bear roams, Looking for the last of its food for the year, so there is no possible way he can hear
The small rustling of hedgehogs huddling together
Or the soft sound a pigeon makes as it sheds its feather, At last we reach just one small leaf on a bed of snow, So say goodbye to Autumn and greet Winter with its shiny, white glow.
