Paper people
All the same
But then you grab one
Colour it in
Dress it up
With your pens
Hang them up
And they then
Look like they're
Not the same
But the shape
Always stays.
The "shape" thing
Of a real person
Is the thing that makes them one.
With only it
They would not be
Different.
The colours need
To shine through
If they don't
I'm not me
And you're
Not you.
