With the clothes on their back the search the abyss
Not knowing what's ahead
Dear lays in their stomachs
Their only friends each other and death.
With no end in sight, they start to lose hope
But pushing on further, they find what they seek
Their enemy, high and might, they stand tall and proud
"Attack!" They scream, "Leave none standing!"
And so they fought, to the gory end
Pain without gain, what is the point?
Lives are lost, and what for?
Brave men fought that night
And many men died that night
With no survivors left, the bodies lay high
Time doesn't stop, and the sun doth rise.
