Excellence Award in the 'Dream Big 2013' competition
War is with in all of us
A parasite we make causing loss
By all the talk of peace and unity
We often forget about the reality
Time and time again we prove it so
Killing millions in doing so
Kings, Queens, leaders and generals
How often they forget the morals
At sea of sand and in the barren winter land
Righteous souls perished with no one to depend
As the bald headed eagle swoops from the air
deploying nothing except for despair
Coffins of metal that fall from the skies
Setting ablaze the innocents and the lies
We try to hide the war with in humanity
In the end noting remains, not even our sanity
