Life is a flame.
You can keep it going for quite a while but no matter what you do, it will eventually burn out.
Life is the sun.
Rising up, gleaming, bright and fresh. It may fall and fade but soon come again to illuminate someone's path.
Life is a waterfall.
Sometimes raging and loud, constantly moving, searching for that soothing, slow motion stream.
Life is a pencil.
It begins sharp and free-flowing...but in the end it can be rubbed out of existence.
