Finalist in the 'Dream Big 2013' competition
Tears dancing down his face, scorching his skin like its a race
Who can hit the deepest, leaving the biggest imprint on his life
Gutless little children, immature as the night
Blocking everyone’s limelight, so they will be in sight
But hiding in the darkness; afraid of not surviving the fight
And although he’s done not a movement wrong
They’re always going to judge
That invisible society over there
That won't ever budge
So people continue to trudge across this stereotyped land
Where no one has a decision and where no one lends a hand
Even now tears slip from everybody’s face
Whether in private, or underneath another's grace
These are the effects of society, that no one cares to change
The sadness of the century that will never be erased
