Sandy Nights

Sunshine, on my skin
Can turn it red
Golden sand, through my toes
Soft as a yellow rose
Waft of smells
Coconuts and mangoes
And couples doing lively fandangos

The night arrives
Crescent moon oh so high
Surfers ending in a tie
But the celebration dies down
And everyone goes back to town

Now alone, is the night sky
Only with the sea, the sand and the moon
As my mom always told me. "Live and let live".
