Waking Crows

People fast and people slow, Clouds are high and clouds are low.
Rivers still and rivers flow, Humans, stupid, 'know' they know.

Heart is fast and brain is slow, Sun is high and birds soar low.
Ponds sit still but rivers flow, Humans, cocky, think they know.

Promise fast and keep it, no, Men are high and women low.
Oceans still, yet scream hello, Humans, waiving, might not know.

Storm strikes fast, makes nature grow, Dawn marks rooster, wakes the crow.
Flood breaks out, the oarsmen row, Humans, dying, do not know.

The suns rays fading, light is low, Barren, desert, no trees grow.
The rivers drying, stemming flow, And humans, conquered, never know.
