Walking The Dog

On a cold, winter’s day in Paris,
There once was a girl called Clarice.
As she walked her dog through the park,
She met an old friend of hers named Clark.
The dog ran off to lick a clock,
and then saw a kitten that almost got bitten.
Clarice knew what was occurring,
So she started turning towards the dog.
No one knew what she was going to do,
Except that it wasn’t going to work.
So the community pitched in to catch little Finn,
To save the poor little kitty.
They didn’t do it ‘cause of kindness or ‘cause of niceness
they did ‘cause of habit.
Little Finn hid under the log as Clarice sighed.
Just another day walking the dog.
