This note of what happened to earth, In case it is ever found, Because maybe you will take heed, And keep your world turning 'round;
I look around this broken world, No hope and shattered dreams, Where teardrops well in every eye, Ears filled with frightful screams,
Earth used to be beautiful, Healthy bright and green, But now it has all turned black, The worse thing to be seen,
And everything has been destroyed, This earth now has no use, Where forest's stood once tall and proud, They are now filled with refuse,
And now everything is dying, only a few still alive, we wrecked our beautiful planet, so now we cannot survive,
And as I watched this planet die, Humans tried to turn back time, To take back the things they did wrong, To erase their painful crime,
We first killed helpless every tree, Polluted both water and air, We destroyed our only shelter, And there's no food anywhere,
So please take this as a warning, And so, whatever you do, If you look after the planet, The planet will look after you.
