That power that radiates from revenge.
Her warmth sends blood red flowers abloom.
Her every fibre, heaven’s finery,
Echoes of pleasantry sound at her whisper
Like honeyed breezes from beds of flowers.
Hark! Her footsteps approach like patter sweet-
Let every man take heed! Sweet, sweet revenge,
Come please! And as she draws her sword to smite,
Take word, her evanescent beauty dies.
Long are her vicious talons of demise
As she draws the blood of her victim, bound.
Bound by the thickness of our selfishness.
To us all, the greedy she turns around,
Revenge pounds us deep into the cold ground.
