A mother,
A kindred spirit,
The caressing touch,
Of a hand so soft and cool,
To soothe the broken, scattered soul,
The peal of laughter,
Like the wind chimes,
Swaying softly with the whistling wind,
Shattering the silent night,
A character of colour,
The rainbow residing happily inside,
But love,
Fostered from the beginnings,
Bloomed in their hearts,
A flower maturing to beauty,
With the heartbeat of another.
