Talismanic Poem
You have many names printed on you
You are shiny and golden with a maroon background.
You are well protected
High on a shelf in my room
You are two rectangular prisms
Stuck together
I was surprised when you were given to me
Because of you, I am more energetic
Playing cricket
You are not only valued by me
But by my friend Ben R as well
You are liked by all who play
Cricket
I have owned you for a year now
And there is something I want to ask you
Is it boring standing up there?
You are the keeper
Of my favourite cricket memory.
