A Girl Needs A Daddy

A girl needs a daddy for many, many things,
Like holding her high off the ground where sunlight sings!
Like being the good music that tells her all is right and wrong
When she wakes frantic from the terrors of the night
Like being the great mountain that rises in her heart and shows her she might get home before all else falls apart.
Like giving the love that is in her heart, so diving deep or soaring high she’ll always find him there.
When she is alone and has no-one there, for him to go over and have lots of care
When with him sunlight beams with laughter, to be there to have fun and make her happy
When all alone and hurt, to love and comfort her
To the darkest nights and the sunniest days to always be there
To protect her in those most frightening stages of her entire life
When with him sunlight beams with laughter
No one will have the heart to break us apart
Happy days have happy endings.
