Drifting across the water
Thinner than silk,
Fluorescent pinks and blues
And petals as white as milk.
The beauties of the water
The lilies of the night,
Mother nature's daughter
The dancer in the light.
Water lilies may hide
Water lilies may glide.
Some day they shall strive
Some day they shall fly.
