Down past the meadow,
Where all the deer frolic,
There lies a riverside village,
Where captains dock their ships.
They like the peaceful meadows,
They like the taverns and markets,
They like the friendly occupants,
And the protection that they offer.
And beyond the peaceful meadows,
Is a castle to keep you safe,
A blacksmith to craft you horseshoes,
And a jolly innkeeper who provides you a bed.
People feel strongly when they think about this place,
As joyful as they could be,
So come to this village,
Come live here with me.
