They wander through the rivers
through fields and barren lands.
They wander through the deserts
through harsh and burning sands.
They wonder why they left their home
to take this pointless quest.
Their country threatened by a war
which they could just protest.
They fled from hunger and from pain
power plays and endless gain.
Soldiers taking innocent lives
while evil, greed and sadness thrives.
Another country sends them back
on their hard and perilous track.
But they knows soemthing that country does not
if they go home they will be shot.
