A glorious creator, a merciless destroyer,
A mover of mountains, and calmer of seas,
The tides…
The strongest pull, the harshest push
The highest high, and the lowest low
The tides and toils…
A seed for truth, a construction of deceit
The sincerest expression, and heartfelt hate
The tides and toils of love and loss.
