War is not the enemy, nor is it the saviour,
Thou hast brought thee upon themselves.
Bright, hot fury churning Man's behaviour,
What hast thou done to redeem thyself?

Hast thou done nothing?
Hast thou done everything?
Hast thou seen and done nothing?
Art thou filled with regret about everything?

War is motionless, yet full of commotion,
Why must thou engage in futile hostility?
Does thou feel accomplished of thy abomination?
The abomination that is War's futility,

War is futile, yet causes much pain
and suffering and loss and
What does thou say, is the gain?
Death? Power? Peace?
