Dad

You gave me courage, you gave me strength,
Your love couldn't be measured in height or length,
Without you I wouldn't survive,
Which is why it's so heartbreaking that you're no longer alive,
You taught me to write, you taught me to read,
When I was alone, your words were all I would need,
But sometimes life has an unexpected turn,
As I found myself staring at your urn,
It's because of you that I am what I am today,
You never gave up on me, you always knew just what to say,
You are my faith, my pride and my joy,
I felt so blessed to be your little boy,
Your memory shall never fade,
My love for you will never cease,
I love you Daddy,
Rest in Peace.
