The waves come crashing, rolling in
This is where it will begin
Drooping legs and tired lungs
Shining light, help finally comes
Swimming, thrashing, getting there
There is little more that I can bear
Then it left, disappeared
Far, far worse than I had feared
I gave up, let it go
Sinking, falling, dropping slow
The moon grew small, a tiny dot
Vanish completely, I hope not
Dark fish frolic, dolphin cry
They escape, I don’t try
I’m near the bottom, my final drop
When will the falling finally stop?
