Short matted hair,
Styled like she doesn’t care.
Checked red shirt,
Short purple skirt.
Long tanned legs,
Enough to turn heads.
Chipped black polish,
They look twice, astonished.
No longer caring,
Everyone’s staring.
Pushing and shoving,
The hallways are buzzing.
The once queen bee,
Who dared to be different,
Who dared to be herself.
