Friendship is special, it makes you smile,
But maybe you should stop and think for a while.
What is friendship? And what does it mean?
And why is it such a significant thing?
Okay, that’s enough thinking; I’ll share with you,
Some things about friendship, that I know are true.
Friendship is important and you should beware,
That friendship is love and the fact you care.
About your friends and the ones you love,
The ones you don’t push and shove.
The ones that stick with you through thick and thin,
The ones you can count on when your chances are slim.
The ones you tell secrets, but they don’t tell a soul,
The ones that warm your day when the rest of it is cold. So now you have heard this, I’d be glad to know,
You can choose a true friend, not a foe.
