Day Becomes Night

The endless blue,
Changes,
In a rhythmic way.
Across the horizon,
Colours stripe the sky,
And the clouds disappear.
Slowly darkening,
As the moon rises,
For the night.
Scattered throughout the blackness,
Just hanging there,
Diamonds glisten.
