Houston announced, “ we need a man on the moon!”
I’m the man for the job; I’ll see you soon!
I sat in the rocket and started to fly
Soon after that we were out of the sky!
We looked out the Window and saw…
Twelve devious devils destroying the door!
Calm, cosmic creatures crawling around
Colourful and calculating cats on the ground,
Mad, malicious monsters meeting some friends
Red, rusty robots with rubbish that bends
Busy burnished beings in a sticky mess;
Gruesome green giants
Growing less and less!
Quickly the rocket headed for the ground
And soon after that we were home safe and sound!
