Excellence Award in the 'The Text Generation 2014' competition
Your sweetest memories, treasured for centuries
In an expanding stretch of galaxies
Right now, your own light radiates
And takes flight through the Pearly Gates
So furthest stars and satellites
Can share in planet Earth’s delights
And boarders shall not dare encumber
Your whisper in the cosmic thunder
Your secrets etched, your stories traced
Immortalised in silent space
Remember what I say, perchance
You question your significance
Though far away, the truth shines through
The stars do marvel back at you
