I am stable and determined
I wonder what other people think about me
I hear my family cheering when I play netball
I see red hot faces at the basketball courts
I am stable and determined

I pretend that I am okay when I am not
I feel loved when I’m with my pets
I touch my destroyed skin caused by battle scars
I worry that people don’t like me
I am stable and determined

I understand that I can’t please everyone
I say “the moment I give up is the moment I let someone else win”
I dream about what it would be like to be perfect
I try to be nice towards others
I am stable and determined
