“I Am”
I am quiet and approachable
I hear trucks and cars passing and a thunderstorm nearing,
I see people in my class,
I want to win netball,
I am quiet and approachable.

I pretend to like people to keep the peace,
I feel tired,
I worry about not having homework done in time,
I cry at sad movies and about things that are unfair,
I am quiet and approachable.

I understand that not everyone likes each other,
I say I like people and their actions- and I don’t,
I try to win netball,
I hope it rains today,
I am quiet and approachable.
