One day in the Jurassic swamp,
A big lizard started to stomp,
He gathered the mud and created a flood...
And that was the end of the romp.
Still early under the hot sun,
Some sabre-toothed tigers had fun,
It got out of hand and one ruined a gland...
While two others made up a pun.
So later along in the day,
A horse came and ate all the hay,
The dinos got mad and the mammoth was sad...
But horses survived anyway.
Then came the dark star-filled night,
Extinction showed up as a fright,
A meteor came and it's now known by name:
The Alvarez Hypothesis. (It's right!)
