As the world lay dead and cold,
A humble spirit laid to rest.
The live forevers, never old,
Would look upon a kingdom blessed.
A simple sky concealing light,
Did hide the woes of time.
Behind stood monsters, of much might,
Cursed to e’er mime.
Their guarders built with silver tongues,
Could parry any thrust.
Their victories of old were sung,
From when the sky was dust.
By King of lightning, God of sea, Lord of dark despair,
Was formed a bond unbroke.
These mighty gods, these just and fair,
Would call the last Olympus home.
