Dana The Dinosaur

In a different universe there was a dinosaur named Dana. Dana was extremely lonely, and poor Dana didn’t have any friends except for her family, Dana never understood why she did have friends, she often wonder if it was because she didn’t go to school or maybe it was because she looked different to the others, she was tall and had bright green scaly skin with purple zig zags on her tail, she had big sharp teeth and tiny little arms, Dana often felt left out and was always that Dinosaur that was never chosen to play sporting games. Dana had something to look forward to tho, Dana and her family where going to a holiday to Unicorn Island the most relaxing place in the whole world, But Dana was worried, scared even because she didn’t think she would make friends at all the activity’s her parents had signed her up in. The big day came and Dana became more and more scared but she told herself that she will make friends but that made her more nervous. 8 hours later and they had arrived on Unicorn Island,” it’s beautiful” Dana said, her parents agreed, once the family had arrived at the beach side hotel, there were pools with water slides, people everywhere waiting to take your order and bring it to you, and the room, it was just amazing. It was 4 o’clock and Dana’s first activity started in half an hour, and she was looking forward to it. Finally the time came for Dana to go down to the lobby and meet the group, Dana thought it would be best to walk down the stairs but she was on the 100th floor so she went down to the 5th floor and slowly walked down the stairs telling herself that these people are going to be nice and caring finally the last set of stairs and the moment arrived she walked out of the stair case and into the lobby, she saw the group and walked over and said “he-e-llo I am D-a-n-a” all of the dinosaur looked at her, then giggled, Dana giggled back and the others introduced each other one at a time. Over the following 2 weeks Dana made amazing friends but one of the girls in the group became Danas best friend her name was Penelope, Penelope was a bright purple dinosaur with bright green zig zags on her tail and she also had small arm just like Dana, there was one problem Dana and Penelope lived in different states in fact they lived 24 hours away from each other, the two dinosaurs thought of ways that they could stay friends but none of them would work, things like running away, or hiding Penelope on the plane so that she couldn’t go back home, but while this was happening their parents where listening and decide that Penelope could live with Dana and her family so that Dana would never be alone again
