War Letter

Dear Mother and Father,
I have been in Afghanistan for a month now. I've have some very late nights because of all the guns firing and blood curdling screams outside my window. So far I've lost two of my closest friends here, I've had some close calls in the past week.
I'll be home soon, if we lose any more men I will have to stay longer.
