War
War can be good and war can be bad,
It can make people happy or make people sad.
But I'm here to talk about the dark side of conflict,
'Cause if you don't pay attention you could be tricked.
War can kill and war can be killed,
But if you die your blood will be spilled.
The sound of gun shots ring in my ears,
This will haunt me for the rest of my years.


The taste of rations lingers in my mouth,
I couldn't worry 'bout that we were heading south.
The feeling of mud between my toes,
I couldn't complain I was with the pros
The smell of dead corpses filled the air,
But the enemy continued without a care.
When ever a tank rolled on by,
It looked like it stood 50 feet high.
So just remember this if you go to war,
You will never forget what you saw.
