When the war ended. We knew our country was well defended. But when the solders came back. They were each holding a burial sack. We knew many had died and so the whole country had cried. Oh great solders we knew you weren’t there for some bounty. You were there to defend our country so people I think we owe them. So to you solders I dedicate my poem.
