Oh Statue

Oh statue! Take my hand tonight,
We’d do, not think and never part.
I see your sorrow, the one I feel,
Days grow longer the more you wait.

Oh statue! I’d fill your hole as you’d fill mine,
You stand there each day empty and stared,
What is a world within these walls?
Walls that pale behind your beauty.

Oh statue! Love is strange,
So let’s be strange together,
The world is full of wary souls to hold,
But yours burns brightest in my eyes.

Oh statue! No one understands yet somehow you do,
We've never spoken nor touched,
But the story of us will soon be written.
Let me love you, Oh statue!
