Day Dreams
I’m falling down into an eternal sleep.
I can’t get up from this dream.
I feel like I’m Alice in Wonderland
Without the wonder or anything to see.
I see blurs now of sheets of maths,
My teacher screaming, “Max!”
It’s like I’m in a bad dream,
I’m trapped.
I’m screaming out but she can’t hear me,
She’s outside a glass door with no key.
I must save my friends from the dangers of the day dream.
I am Max the day dreamer
Such sorrow exists,
Like you would never believe.
