Once there was a man,
he came from Afghanistan,
you can’t grow much there,
it’s not at all fair.
He had a mission to save Afghanistan,
when he did this he was a very proud man.
In Afghanistan the soil doesn’t feel good,
at least not as it should.
In Afghanistan the water is low,
no matter how much you do you just can’t grow.
Someone asked the man, “Is that so?”
The man said, “Yes it is, trust me I know.”
He made mulch out of food scraps,
and added some dirt perhaps.
Do you know what he did, he saved Afghanistan,
yes he did that very smart man.
He planted some trees, he watered some crops,
he picked the fruit from the very treetops.
Now that my story has been told,
Please don’t waste food even if it’s a bit old.
