Paint A Smile

Call me names,
Push me down,
You can bet I will never cry,
Well at least not in front of you,
Kiss your power goodbye,
To myself I will stay true,
Never again shall I feel ashamed,
Happiness I have now claimed,
Keep painting that smile,
Until it becomes real,
And after a while,
Your wounds will heal.
