Snowflakes falling from the sky covering the ground like a white coat.
The cheetah cub had never seen snow because he had just been born.
He was very excited and ran into the snow. What a shock he got!
He rolled over and over again.
He slid into a valley of snow.
After he was all covered in snow.
He looked like a snow cub.
He was freezing cold!
In front of him were five caves.
“Which cave is mine?” wondered the cub.
All of the caves were white because they were covered in snow.
He howled for his mother but no one replied.
He headed to the first cave.
He did not know that was the snow leopard’s cave.
He poked his head inside and saw a black shadow.
The shadow came closer and closer and was getting bigger and bigger.
The cub was so scared, he froze like a block of ice.
The snow leopard licked and licked the frightened cub.
Suddenly three little leopards came out of the shadows.
The snow leopard knew where the cheetah lived.
The cheetah’s den was high up in the mountain.
The cub started to play with the little leopards.
He was having fun.
It was time to leave before it got dark.
The mother cheetah was half way down the mountain.
She was calling for her cub.
The cub ran happily to his mother and they licked each other.
