As it sinks deep into my mind, I remember her
I gloomily stare down at the dead soil and feel the tears whip off my nose
I will never see her again, never
My legs are ready to collapse and I feel ill
I think back to the wonderful memories we shared, but they didn’t help to lighten the mood
All this time, I had taken her presence for granted
But now she is gone
Forever
My stomach churns, the smell in the air reminds me of… Of Her.
The scent begins to dissipate and my stomach calms
I noticed the pond, which was home to a pale white and black fish
I feel at peace once more
I look at the grey mound of soil and glance at the 5 white stones placed in a circle
Thoughts flow into my mind and are soon replaced with black
I picture her again
Shrouded with beauty and her blue eyes shimmering, she will always be with me
