Maddison's Poem

The road is long, the days are short.
We go to school so things like this we can be taught.
Mum said life is not easy, I am 9 and I know it can make you queasy.
I am learning to be strong being bullied is hard,
It can leave you broken and leave you scared.
I have found not everyone is bad,
My new friends are the best thing I have ever had.
Don't bully anyone as you don't always see the tears,
You can destroy a person and leave them in tangles for years.
Now together we sparkle and shine as friends,
And being bullied has finally come to an end.
