War

When the war started,
people screamed,
shouting and gun bangs were heard all over the street,
kids were crying,
people were dying,
and brave soldiers were fighting, fighting for their lives.
But as time wore on,
one by one each soldier fell,
they fell and got trampled on,
without any care or love,
after a few minutes the soldiers knew they were losing,
so they gave up and tried not to cry.
All hope was lost until came a girl,
a girl that knew nothing about war.
She took up the courage,
and shouted a battle cry,
and the soldiers found strength again,
so they fought and fought,
until the blood red water turned to azure,
and they still died in the end but died with courage,
and they brave girl was remembered from this day onwards.
