Green and young
It has its shell, an enclosure that contains so much of the unknown
Has no flaws but feels incomplete
Surrounded by millions of others but wants to stand out
The weather is changing
A dark storm is whirling its way towards...
Only some live on
When the sun comes out and the clouds clear up
It slowly opens up
Blooms with vibrant colours
Petals that contrast with the dull green around it
Exposing itself to the radiant sun
It is the first to blossom
