I am an adventurous girl, who likes books.
I wonder what will happen at the end of a story.
I hear the incantations of spells, the whistle of songs.
I see the forests filled with mystery.
I want what I read to be true.
I am an adventurous girl, who likes books.

I pretend to be in the world of magic.
I feel very strongly about fictional characters.
I touch wands, owls, castles, bows and arrows.
I worry that I spend too long stuck in the pages.
I cry that the world's moved on and I'm stuck behind.
I am an adventurous girl, who likes books.

I understand that the stories in books aren't real.
I say that we all have our own story.
I dream about a world with a happy ending.
I try to make that dream true.
I hope to be more than a girl with a book.
