Sadness latches on
Grasping tightly on to me
Hold unrelenting.

It is always sad
When someone special dies
Grieving’s always hard.

Told “it is okay
Gone to a better place
You don’t need to cry”.

Don’t tell me that
Why don’t you understand?
The reason I cry

Is because they leave
They leave me all alone here
I don’t want to stay.
